The Empire of Nerath
About a hundred years ago, the once mighty human Empire of Nerath was claimed by the ravages of time. The only thing that remains of the once great empire is the Keep on the Shadowfell. Even it is no longer the glory it once was. It is merely a bunch of stone and wood rubble. A village exists within sight of the ruins, Winterhaven. It has seen decades of peace and the history behind the keep has been long forgotten.
