Rannos Trollender
Rannos Trollender is a dwarven warrior and one of the three leaders of Aspenwood. He hails from the Danwedh Mountains, where he was actually a caravan leader, taking supplies back and forth between Danwedh and Ugoras (the mountain the elves call Belfalas). During one of his trips, his wagons were attacked by trolls from the Falmar Plains, but thanks to his quick thinking (and mad skills with a maul), the caravan was spared. Thinking there could be more troll attacks, Rannos took a few guards with him into the Plains while the wagons went on. Twelve days later, when he and his men arrived in Ugoras with the heads of the two troll chieftains, the local earl congratulated him for his bravery and prowess. He also told Rannos about the settlement of Aspenwood, and how the current dwarf leader, Koril Brassbeard, was wanting to retire. Rannos could replace him, if he so chose. After a night of drunken revelry, Rannos agreed.
