Background:
Matthew grew up the oldest of four in the city of Suzail, the capitol city of the realm of Cormyr. Matthew began being trained in the art of Magic at the age of 7 alone with his brother Ian. It was discovered in a very short period of time that Matthew was a Sorcerer and not a Wizard. From that point on his father made him train in solitude. Matthew was encouraged to leave home at the age of 13 by his Father to further his training. After traveling abroad for months he settled in the town of Arabel for a few months and then took a journey to the city of Marsmeber to search for a sorcerer to apprentice under. After reaching Marsmeber he is discovered and attacked by the sorcerer Zio. Zio does not agree to train Matthew, but points him in the direction for self study. After a brutal 5 years in Marsmember Matthew heads to Sparrowdale to become an Adventurer.
Character Pofile:
Matthew most prominent attribute is his Charisma. Matthew is a likable guy and a cable leader. Matthew also has a solid work ethic and prefers to be addressed by his last name. Although a he had a mother who was Ranger he has is an absolute wash out with his crossbow. Matthew main motivation for improving his skillls seems to be the accumualation of power. He also has a competive sybling rivalry with his brother Ian who is a wizard.
