Stone of Elostirion
The Stones of Elostirion are relics of elder elven magics of long ago. When the elves were first introduced to the concepts of altering their realities with the use of magic, they grew power-hungry, and sought to increase their eldritch might even further. The adepts first gained the ability to craft wands - devices which allowed them to cast the same spell many times over, but these were only useable if the wielder were normally able to cast the spell contained in the wand. Eventually the elven archmage Elostirion learned the secrets to unlocking the potential of any spellcaster, arcane or divine, though in a somewhat limited capacity. He crafted the first Stones.
Pengarond carries a Stone of Elostirion.
