Wolf's Bane, or Belladonna
A type of Nightshade, the Wolf's Bane (or Belladonna) is a somewhat-rare plant that can be found growing at the bases of some trees, provided it does not get too much sunlight. Though it has a variety of uses (such as curing eye diseases or counteracting powerful drugs) this plant is known best for its ability to cure lycanthropy if applied quickly enough to a bite victim (see
lycanthropes). While there is a significant chance for a dose to cure the horrid curse, it should also be known that Wolf's Bane is a powerful poison, and, if not treated, in most cases will kill the consumer. Because of this, any attempt at using this as a curative should only be administered by a professional - administering too little will have no effect, but administering too much will kill the patient.
