After thoroughly investigating the house of Olain Spellcheek, and finding little, the group decided to follow up another lead. Leaving the house (mostly) the way it was found, they searched for Minlana Jewelfrost and recieved a tip from a suspicious smelling citizen. In the meantime, the sorcerer Alderick searched the accused thief's house, finding little, and finally went to the mayor, securing an extension for the possibly framed elf. Following up their lead, the rest of the group headed for the less maintained part of town, soon arriving at The Holy Board Inn, named after it's state of disrepair. Inside, the party met a priest of Corellon Larethian, Pengarond Miretano "Quickeye", delivering packages of supplies to the bartender. Seeing the party, the priest introduced himself and inquired as to the group's purpose in this part of town. After explaining the situation with Arren, the priest decided to accompany the team, if only for the time being. After questioning the bartender, the group learned that Minlana occasionally stopped by the inn, though was more likely to be found Thursday nights at the graveyard. Paying for their drinks (and advising the bartender not to refer to them as 'traders/traitors'), the team of adventurers set out to investigate the house of the other murdered noble, in the hopes that it may be linked to Olain's death, or the framing of Arren, and met up with Alderick on the way. Arriving at the house, and finding they were unable to open the door, the priest and barbarian climbed the roof and descended through the chimney, unlocking the door from the inside (and tracking chimney soot through the house). A thorough search of the house revealed some items of interest, such as a note addressed to Olain, a book of the town's history, and a magical ring of unknown properties. After investigating the bed, and finding it soaked through with blood, the group decided to go their seperate ways again, with Alderick setting out on a date with Roxanne, and Syrin, Spikeblood, Astronom, and Pengarond setting out to investigate the graveyard.

The night passed without incident, and the next day the group decided to accept one of the assignments given them by the Adventurer's Guild, regarding an item lost by the inventor Lainlyrr Sunspear. After questioning Ms. Sunspear, the team learned that the item in question was a magical spoon, and had disappeared somewhere to the east. With that information the team set out, shortly arriving at a dark and foreboding cave. After ensuring adequate lighting, the group bravely set forth, fighting their way through rats, delving into the depths of the cave...
