The Warderwilds
The Warderwilds are the areas to the north-west of Sparrowdale. It consists of the elven nation of Nargothrond and several outlying, sparsely-populated areas. Considered by most to be wild, untamed lands of ancient magics best left undisturbed, the Warderwilds actually protect the populations of Aspenwood and the surrounding settlements from the unwanted advances of various monstrous races, as well as the more "civilized" nations of Jodago.

The Warderwilds are bound on the north by the Woldus Mountains. Deep inside the Falathar Caverns, cloakers, darkmantles, and grimlocks can be found alongside the tribe of dwarves known as the Duergar. While all dark elves were destroyed in the Scouring, there are still some driders that can be found here as well, somehow evolving to the point where they are now a true-breeding race.

The Hills of Eledhwen are home to several nomadic tribes of goblins and gnolls, who keep an uneasy truce between them.

In the Anroth Marshes, a shamanistic group of goblins compete with lizardfolk for domination.

In the Falmar Plains, all manner of beasts can be found, from the lowly prairie dog to the mighty triceratops and their dinosaur kin.
