The Warderwilds are the areas to the north-west of Sparrowdale. It consists of the elven nation of Nargothrond and several outlying, sparsely-populated areas. Considered by most to be wild, untamed lands of ancient magics best left undisturbed, the Warderwilds actually protect the populations of Aspenwood and the surrounding settlements from the unwanted advances of various monstrous races, as well as the more "civilized" nations of Jodago.The Warderwilds are bound on the north by the Woldus Mountains. Deep inside the Falathar Caverns, cloakers, darkmantles, and grimlocks can be found alongside the tribe of dwarves known as the Duergar.
